Jaw surgery is also known as orthognathic surgery.
Combined orthodontics, and orthognathic surgery typically takes place after growth stops, usually between 14-16 for females and ages 17-21 for males.
Jaw surgery can be done in combination with braces OR clear aligners/Invisalign.
